Few things are as exciting as watching molten glass take form and every day I get to watch someone experience that for the first time. Being able to tap into the enthusiasm and excitement of my students is one of the best gifts teaching has to offer. After over 20 years of blowing glass it still feels fresh, thanks to all of you! I started blowing glass in high school and have trained with some of the most respected glassblowers in the country, including Ben Moore, Dale Chihuly, and Richard Royal. But it’s my kids that have been my greatest teachers. They have made me a better communicator, a lover of the little things and reminded me to follow my passions. My wife/creative partner and I revel in the eclectic life we have built with Naples as a home base, Oregon as our summertime happy place and a lot of adventuring in between.
